Cleaning Accessories
Students must have the following accessories to help make their instrument work efficiently. School instruments will not be checked out until the student can show the teacher that they have the proper supplies. The supplies can be purchased at most music stores. Financial assistance is available, so please contact the teacher if needed.
Flute : cleaning rod and cloth (flutes comes with rods in their cases).
Clarinet/Saxophone : swab, cork grease, at least 3 reeds, mouthpiece brush (optional)
Trumpet/Baritone/Tuba : valve oil, slide grease, cleaning snake, mouthpiece brush (optional)
Trombone : slide cream, cleaning snake brush, small spray bottle of water, mouthpiece brush (optional)
Percussion: must have your own set of sticks, practice pad (will be asked to show the teacher)
String Instruments: strings, rosin, rag to wipe off excess rosin on the strings
